Anti-vibration PU foam

Adtech PU Anti-Vibration Foam is a high-density microcellular closed-cell polyurethane foam designed for cushioning, sealing and damping in electronic devices. Unlike conventional foams, it retains its thickness and resilience after prolonged compression, maintaining effective vibration and dust protection throughout the product's life.

Typical Applications

• Cushioning between LCD screens, touch glass and housings
• Dust and moisture gaskets for handheld device housings and meters
• Shock-absorbing pads for battery packs, hard drives and camera modules
• Anti-vibration liners for fans, speakers and small motors

Application Notes

Design the gap so the foam is compressed 20–50% of its thickness for optimal sealing and damping. For frame-style gaskets, choose foam pre-laminated with single- or double-sided adhesive for fast positioning. Bonding surfaces must be clean and dry; avoid stretching the foam during application, as this will change its dimensions after recovery.

Choose a lower density where light compression force is needed around thin displays, and a higher density for load-bearing locations such as battery packs.
